Star Hopper is an educational observing trainer, not a planetarium replacement. The chart uses real celestial coordinates and a bright-star catalogue; compact asterisms include curated detail stars for telescope-scale practice. Tonight's Challenge is season-based in v1 rather than a live altitude or weather forecast. Sky visibility still depends on date, time, location, light pollution and weather.
